Weingut Silas Hörler Chardonnay Village Maienfeld, Graubünden – 2023

This wine has flavours of pear, banana and citrus notes. The oak aromas are very subtle and add complexity and some weight on the palate. Fresh, balanced and with a pleasant bite of salty minerality on the finish.
The grapes from two small vineyards in Maienfeld were gently pressed in the cellar and the must was then filled into used French barrels, where it was fermented and then aged for a further 10 months before bottling.
