“The 2014 Gevrey-Chambertin en Palluds comes from a village cru that is located just below Corbeaux and tends to have slightly more clayey soils. The vines here are around 50-years-old. There is a sense of volume and fatness on the nose with fragrant, small red berries. More cohesive and with more density than the Villages, it sports a pleasant salinity and poise right on the finish. This will be well worth seeking out.” The Wine Advocate
