“The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin En Palud comes from 55-year-old vines and the bunches were completely de-stemmed. It has a delightful bouquet, really quite crystalline with slightly darker fruit than the Gevrey Aux Etelois. The palate is medium-bodied with quite firm tannins: touches of red plum and mulberry with a very saline finish that leaves the mouth tingling (just like licking active limestone!).
