This Sauvignon Blanc from 30+ year old vines grown on the local Kimmeridgian clay and limestone of Pouilly Fumé was aged in Acacia oak barrels to give it extra roundness and finesse. 2014 was a fantastic white wine vintage in the Louire and this has real complexity of flavor, with hints of honey, lime, peach and acacia flowers and pure, fresh acidity. This is a really interesting Loire Valley Sauvignon. Blanc.
