The Altesse grape is unique to the western part of Switzerland and the Jura region just over the border in France, where it is known as Roussette. This example was produced biodynamically and without any additions of Sulpur dioxide during the winemaking, so is as natural as a wine can be! It has quite a deep, straw yellow colour and hints of honey and nuts on the nose. It tastes dry and fresh, fairly full bodied and almost tropically fruited, but pure and zesty at the same time. Its finish is long and nutty.
