A delicious, silky-smooth Fitou with wonderful depth and purity of raspberry and cherry fruit. This comes from a mix 0f Katie Jones’s 100 year old Carignan, 80 year old Grenache and 35 year old Syrah vines.
“A blend of Carignan, Grenache and Syrah, about a third of the 2016 Fitou Vieilles Vignes aged in barriques for nine months, but what this wine shows more than anything else is lovely, pristine fruit—a mix of blueberries, raspberries and cherries—framed by hints of resinous garrigue.
