Vina Cubillo Rioja Crianza – 2015 Bodega Lopez de Heredia

This Rioja Crianza  comes from one of Lopez de Heredia’s three single vineyards in the Rioja Alta region just outside Haro. A blend of 65% Tempranillo, 25% Garnacha and the rest Mazuelo and Graciano, it was aged for 3 years in barrel and 5 years in bottle pre-release, making it older than the majority of Gran Reserva Riojas you will find on the market! It is fully mature and drinking very nicely now (2023-2026). 13.5% alcohol. 90,000bts were produced.

“The 2015 Viña Cubillo Tinto Crianza reflects the warmer conditions of the year, and with the riper fruit they picked to produce this wine, they still managed to keep around 13.5% alcohol.
