60% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir. 50% was fermented in 500-litre ex-burgundy barrels. 42 months on lees. Dosage 6 g/l.

The fruit for Sugrue’s flagship sparkling wine was sourced from three estate-owned vineyards planted on chalk, clay and green sand;  Mount Harry, Storrington Priory, and Coldharbour.

2020 was an exceptionally warm and sunny year which gives rich and exuberant fruit aromas. The acidity is intense, tightly-coiled, bursting with vibrancy. Fruity with gentle, biscuity/leesy complexity. This is a unique, bracing, super-fine sparkling wine with immence ageing potential. Top champagne meets the best of England.
