Saumaize-Michelin Pouilly Fuissé Les Ronchevats – 2018

This is one of the top producers in the Pouilly Fuissé region. They work biodynamically, although are not certified, and their Ronchevats vineyard has very old vines, which are able to retain spicy acidity even in a hot and sunny vintage such as 2018. The wine is rich and ripe, with exotic fruit flavours intertwined with delicious butterscotch oak flavour. One of my favourite white Burgundies sub CHF50!
