Enrico Rivetto is the first and only certified biodynamic producer in the Barolo region. Ideally situated on a hillside (called Lirano) overlooking the famous village of Serralunga, his vineyards are a homage to sustainable, natural winemaking.
This exceptional quality Barbera is only produced in the best vintages and comes from Rivetto’s oldest vines – many were planted back in 1944 – at the top of the Lirano hill. It is now perfectly mature with complex aromas of spice, dark cherries and autumn leaves. Mellow, classy, deep, dark and uniquely Italian in flavour, this is one of the finest examples of the Barbera grape we have tasted!
