Ridgeview Bloomsbury NV Sparkling wine

This fine and elegant english sparkling wine is a blend of mainly Chardonnay grapes with some Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, grown on the chalky South Down hills of Sussex not far from the English Channel. It is similar to Champagne on the nose with scents of bread and brioche and has gently honeyed apple and peach flavours on the palate. It is fresh and crisp with impressive intensity and length. At this price there are few better english sparkling wines on the market!
Ridgeview’s first vineyards were planted in the early 1990s. Since then the estate has become one of England’s most respected sparkling wine producers and have received many awards, not least being selected as the official sparkling wine for the late Queen’s Diamond jubilee celebrations.
