Ormarine Picpoul de Pinet Prestige – 2023

This is a very superior rendition of the white Piquepoule grape, grown on clay and limestone hillsides around the Mediterranean village of Pinet, between Montpellier and Béziers.
It is fresh, dry and gently fruity, with a salty bite of acidity from the Mediterranean breezes blowing constantly from the sea nearby. It spent nine months on its lees in cement tanks before bottling which have given extra richness and intensity of flavour. A perfect summer apero, or delicious companion to shellfish and seafood dishes.
