This wine is a collaboration between Jean-Nicolas Méo of cult Burgundy domaine Méo Camuzet and his friend Jay Boberg, an American music mogul. Jean-Nicolas, like several of his compatriots before him (Drouhin et al) recognised the amazing potential of Oregon’s Willamette Valley for producing top quality Pinot Noir in 2011 and this project started soon afterwards.
2016 was their 3rd vintage and each year the quality improves dramatically. This is a ripe and sensual, dark cherry fruited Pinot Noir with freshness, spice and fine, grainy tannins from its 12 months in 33% new French oak barrels.
