According to James Halliday they are the leading producer in the Yarra Valley region north of Melbourne. Established in 1971, they were the pioneers of the Yarra Valley and from the outset have made wines which consistently verge on perfection! Mount Mary “Quintet” is the flagship wine of the estate. From 50 year old vines, this expressive and ethereal red is recognised as one of Australia’s greatest Cabernet styles. It is a medium bodied wine of understated power, distinctive character and an evocative sense of place.
