Moss Wood’s Cabernet Sauvignon is for many Australia’s finest Cabernet – and in the 2016 vintage it is one of the best examples Moss Wood have ever produced, a wine to rival their great 2001 and 2005. It is a blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc. James Halliday rated this vintage 99/100 pts and “Australia’s finest Cabernet Sauvignon” in his 2020/2021 Wine Companion. Ray Jordan, Western Australia’s most famous wine expert, also awarded it 99/100pts and sums the wine up perfectly as follows:- “Heavenly Cabernet.
