I love this elegant, restrained, Chablis-esque Chardonnay from cool-climate Tasmania. It has very gentle hints of hazelnuts, butterscotch and brioche combined with nectarines and citrus fruits. Zesty acidity persists throughout the palate and gives a long finish.
Look out for Tasmania! It is rapidly becoming the most important source of cool climate, top quality Australian Chardonnays and this trend will only grow in the future.
