This south-facing vineyard on rocky, marly soil is usually the first of Pascal’s vineyards to be picked in order to give it its taut, tense acidity. This 2014 has deliciously ripe, almost exotic pineapple and apricot fruit flavours combined with gentle buttery notes from its 25% of new oak barrels. Only 6 barrels were made.
