From a mix of 50 year old and 23 old vines grown on slate and limestone soils, this is fresh and mineral, with flavours of cassis, black cherry, black pepper and spice. It has firm underlying tannins and a lot of freshness and elegance so should develop beautifully in bottle in its first 10 years. 3,400bts were produced.
