Fromm Pinot Noir Selvenen Malans – 2016

Less than 500 cases produced. This is one of the finest Swiss Pinot Noirs under CHF50/bt we have tasted. The 2016 vintage was extremely difficult in the beautiful Alpine wine village of Malans, with early frost followed by hail then Summer thunderstorms – yields this vinatge are therefore low. However the quality this vintage is again superb! This Selvenen Pinot has gorgeous black cherry fruit concentration balanced by vibrantly fresh acidity and enough tannins to give this a good 5-8 years of life ahead. We only have a limited allocation of this wine.
