Fromm Pinot Noir Selvenen Malans – 2013
Original price was: CHF 40.00.CHF 29.90Current price is: CHF 29.90.
Less than 300 cases produced. This is possibly the best Swiss Pinot Noir under CHF50/bt we have tasted. The 2013 vintage was small but perfectly formed in the beautiful Alpine wine village of Malans, meaning that this wine will quickly run out. Never have I tasted such glorious fruit concentration in a Swiss Pinot, balanced by fresh acidity and enough tannins to give this a good 5-8 years of life ahead. If this is what global warming is doing for Swiss Pinot Noirs, the future looks really optimistic.
