Feudo Pignatone’s red wines come from organically grown Nerello Mascalese grapes planted at 700mts altitude on Mount Etna’s northern slopes. Mainly from 30 year old vines, but with a proportion of grapes from vines over 100 years old, this is a smooth, red cherry-flavoured, mineral red which is bursting with sweet, juicy red fruit and spice flavours. The warm and sunny 2022 vintage has made this wonderfully consumer-friendly and attractive, yet it retains real elegance and finesse. 4,500bts were produced.
