Chateau La Conseillante was magnificent in the 2014 vintage – according to winemaker Jean Michel Laporte it was the winery’s best vintage since the fantastic 1985. “Duo” is the second wine, and for me it is simply a great buy in 2014, with freshness, depth of flavour, silky smooth tannins and classic Pomerol opulence.
