This is a very impressive rosé made from 100% Cabernet Franc grapes by one of the top red wine producers in the Loire.
Onion skin in colour, it is fresh with lively acidity and substantial structure for a rosé wine. It was fermented then matured in large 400 litre old oak casks with a small percentage raised in new oak barrels. I love the gentle raspberry fruit and creamy texture, but always with that bite of vitality and freshness. An excellent rosé!
