This organic-certified Chenin Blanc comes from a walled vineyard of sandstone and schist soils in the famous appellation of Savennières, looking down over the peaceful Loire River below.
It combines notes of ripe fruit such as pear and quince with a touch of honey and fine salinity. On the palate, it has broader shoulders, magnificent mineral concentration and the potential for long ageing. The finish is long and precise, with an overriding impression of minerality. A very fine Chenin Blanc from the best appellation in France for this grape.
