Domaine Naturaliste Floris Chardonnay Margaret River, West Australia – 2019

From James Halliday’s “Best Value Australian Winery of 2020”, this Chardonnay comes from the far south of Margaret River, where temperatures are a little cooler. The 2019 vintage was a little cooler than usual in the region, so this has really nice, fresh acidity to balance its stone fruit, jasmine and butterscotch-oak flavours. An excellent example of Margaret River Chardonnay.
