D’Arenberg’s flagship wine, always highly acclaimed by the world’s press, comes from very old gnarled vines with only one cordon. The other died from a vineyard disease called “Dead Arm”. The resulting fruit is extremely concentrated, structured and powerful and gives this wine its huge complexity and ability to develop over 10 to 15 years.
