This delicious sweet wine is one of the finest Satuernes of them all! Produced biodynamically from very old vines and with very low yields, it has amazing intensity of flavour, balance and freshness. It is an absolute delight and – relative to most other wines from Bordeaux of a similar quality level – fantastic value!
Half bottles are the ideal way to enjoy this very sweet wine – it has 152g/l of residual sugar!
“Pale gold, the 2009 Climens offers up a fabulously fragrant nose of green tea, chamomile, powdered ginger, lemon marmalade and fallen leaves with suggestions of spice cake and preserved mandarin peel. The palate is super intense with vibrant, energetic fruit and layer upon layer of perfume and spice nuances, finishing very long and incredibly youthful.” 97pts Wine Advocate
