Chateau Thivin Cote de Brouilly La Chapelle – 2025

This small (1 hectare) vineyard of 60+ year old vines is situated near the top of Mont Brouilly on blue clay soils and extremely steep slopes with a 40-50% gradient. The 2025 vintage in Beaujolais was sunny and warm, giving this wine deliciously ripe raspberry and dark cherry fruit flavours. Its cool vineyard site gives good tension, purity and minerality, and the tannins are silky smooth. An extremely fine and delicious Beaujolais with 5-8 years development potential.
