Bosquet des Papes CNDP Tradition – 2012

«Bottled in March, the 2012 Châteauneuf du Pape is ripe, textured and downright sexy wine that has overflowing notes of sweet cherries, raspberry, chocolate and spice all emerging from the glass. This full-bodied, dense, concentrated and layered effort is one of the top efforts in the vintage, and will have upward of two decade of longevity.
In my view, no estate has made more qualitative gains in the past 3-4 years than Bosquet des Papes. I still remember being floored by the quality of their 2010s, and they’ve almost matched those efforts with these incredible 2012s. In addition, the 2013s are easily some of the top wines in this irregular, difficult vintage.
