Domaine Naturaliste – Margaret River

Domaine Naturaliste was awarded the title of Australia’s “Best Value Winery” by highly-respected wine journalist James Halliday in his 2020 Wine Companion. It is located in the heart of the highly acclaimed Wilyabrup sub-region of Margaret River, about 4kms east from the Indian ocean. The winery was founded by Bruce Dukes in 2012, and is certified “sustainable”. Bruce also makes all the wines, and has been practicing sustainable winemaking for over 30 years, including stints at Francis Ford Coppola’s Niebaum-Coppola winery in California and Pierro winery in Margaret River. He is an absolute master in producing top quality white wines from Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc grapes!

These are without doubt some of the most interesting and complex Sauvignon Blanc based wines in Australia, and the Chardonnays have all the character and complexity one would expect of a top Margaret River producer, but at a fraction of the price of some of the region’s better known names.

All our Domaine Naturaliste wines were awarded 95 points or more by James Halliday, which, at their very reasonable prices, is a huge achievement by Bruce Dukes!
