Fromm Pinot Gris Malans – 2021

The 2021 vintage was a tricky one throughout Switzerland, but the village of Malans was protected from widespread frost damage in April by its surrounding mountains and unique microclimate. An extremely wet July was then saved by a beautiful, long and sunny Alpine Autumn, so that Georg’s 2021 wines have beautiful fruit purity, freshness and minerality.
This Pinot Gris is fresh, fruity and spicy with gently honeyed apple and pear fruit flavours and an almost salty bite of minerality on the finish. Quite full in body due to its maturation in French oak barrels. 13% alcohol.
200 cases were produced.
This wine is certified biodynamic.
