This Crianza is a blend of 65% Tempranillo, 25% Grenache and 10% Mazuelo from the Cubillo Vineyard – one of Lopez de Heredia’s three single vineyards in the Rioja Alta region just outside Haro. It was aged for 3 years in barrel and 5 years in bottle pre-release, making it older than the majority of Gran Reserva Riojas you will find on the market!
With fresh acidity, purity, and seamlessly integrated dark raspberry fruit and vanilla oak flavours, this is a fabulous mix of modern and traditional Rioja winemaking at a very reasonable price.
