Zind Humbrecht Pinot Blanc – 2019

This dry white wine is in fact a blend of 35% Pinot Blanc and 65% Auxerrois (which is related to the Pinot Blanc grape!)
It comes from 44 year old vines on the Rotenberg and Herrenweg vineyards. This 2019 has perfect ripeness and balance and was fermented completely dry. The palate has gentle fruit flavours of yellow plums and pears and shows impressive minerality for the “humble” Pinot Blanc/Auxerrois grapes. A really pleasurable wine which will drink beautifully this summer.
13.1% alcohol. Sweetness indice 1 (ie it’s bone dry!)
