The cool, fresh 2013 vintage has given this usually rich and full bodied Gewurztraminer from 43 year old vines an extra burst of acidity and elegance. It has gentle sweetness (34g/l residual sugar) as the grapes were picked with just a little noble rot starting to affect them. With huge complexity of flavours – from lychee to orange zest to floral – and very moderate alcohol of 13%, this is one of the most complete and perfectly constructed Gewurztraminers you will ever have the pleasure to taste!
