Schild Estate Moorooroo Shiraz Barossa – 2012

Made from a small block of 4 rows of Shiraz vines planted back in 1847, this is one of the oldest vineyard plots in Australia. Only 200 cases of this dark chocolate flavoured, velvety, sensual red are produced each year. From the excellent and cool (by Barossa standards) 2012 vintage, this is full of intensity and concentration and will drink well for many years to come. Barossa Shiraz does not get better than this.
