Rivetto Barolo Leon Riserva DOCG – 2016

Enrico Rivetto is the first and only certified biodynamic producer in the Barolo region. Ideally situated on a hillside (called Lirano) overlooking the famous village of Serralunga, his vineyards are a homage to sustainable, natural winemaking.

From the great 2016 vintage, Enrico’s top of the range Barolo is matured for 5 years in large old oak casks to soften the tannins and gain maximum complexity of flavour before release onto the market. It is drinking beautifully now with a wonderful array of truffle, floral and gamey flavours. 4,000bts were produced. Drink 2022-2035.
