Just in case you were wondering, Pecorino is a white grape local to the Chieti region of central Italy – as well as a cheese made from sheep’s milk!
This white is 100% organic and vegan-friendly. In flavour it reminds me most of a fullish-bodied Australian Verdelho, crammed full of delicious pineapple and exotic fruit flavours, with a leesy richness and complexity. Grown in sight of the Adriatic Sea, it finishes fresh and with just a touch of saltiness.
