From vines over 80 years old grown on a vineyard just below Batard Montrachet, the grapes were picked fairly early in this warm vintage to preserve freshness and relatively low alcohol of only 12%. The wine is broad on the palate and long on the finish, with ripe, exotic fruit flavours perfectly balanced by fresh acidity.
