Paul Janin Moulin à Vent Heritage – 2017

Wow! This is a beautiful wine, from extremely low yielding 80+ year old vines on the granite hillsides of Moulin à Vent. It is both rich and structured, but at the same time light and fresh, with perfect balance of soft, deep dark cherry fruit flavours and fresh, mineral acidity. These are the oldest vines of this excellent domaine and this is a wonderful example of the immense quality potential of the best wines of Beaujolais.
