Pascal Clement Bourgogne Chardonnay – 2018

This remarkably good value white Burgundy was made by Pascal Clément, the ex winemaker at cult domain Coche Dury, and bottled under wax seal, which is extremely labour intensive and a sign of Pascal’s complete passion and commitment to quality!
It comes from the little known Savigny les Beaune appellation but has the pedigree of a really good village Puligny! It has tension, vibrancy and freshness combined with very pleasant stone fruit flavours, good depth of flavour and some fullness It finishes with a gentle bite of minerality. Delicious unoaked Chardonnay.
