Mad Late Harvest Furmint Tokaji – 2013

Sweet, honeyed, rich and complex but with the wonderful underlying acidity which comes from the Furmint grape. This tastes like a classy sweet Tojaki but is made purely from late harvested, shrivelled grapes which are very high in sugar rather than the usual method of Tokaji production, and so is considerably cheaper.
