Domaine de La Maison Carrée is a biodynamic producer owned by the Perrochet family in the scenic village of Auvernier outside Neuchatel. Their wines are some of the most terroir-expressive Pinot Noirs in Switzerland and can develop in bottle for 8-10 years without problem.
Vibrant, pure and mineral Pinot with ripe, concentrated cherry fruit flavours, a hint of spice and gentle balancing freshness. Definite premier cru Burgundy-level quality at a very fair price! You can taste the biodynamic viticulture in this wine as it is so expressive of its limestone soils. Excellent!
