Henschke Mount Edelstone Shiraz – 2010

Wonderful Shiraz from very gnarled old vines on Henschke’s famous Mount Edelstone vineyard. This is full bodied and powerful but with fresh acidity and sturdy tannins to enable long ageing potential. A fascinating mix of typical red and black Barossa fruit flavours but with a cooler, herbal edge from this special vineyard site higher up in the Eden Valley. From the fantastic 2010 vintage.
