Chateau Haut Bailly is a Bordeaux gem! They have THE most amazing, state of the art new winery which has been built into the hill outside the old chateau so that you barely know there is a winery there. They have possibly the oldest vines in Bordeaux – 20% of the blend for their grand vin each year comes from a plot of vines directly outside the chateau which are over 100 years old. And the chateau is managed by one of the most impressive personalities in Bordeaux – Veronique Sanders – who has achieved so much during her tenure over the past 30 or so years.
