Made in traditional “methode Champenoise” style from a blend of 53% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay and 7% Pinot Meunier, this classy sparkling wine was left for 36 months on its lees during its important second fermentation in bottle. The warm and sunny 2018 vintage was a great success in southern England and has produced Gusbourne’s finest and most complex Brut Reserve to date. It has crisp, refreshing acidity, intense, ripe English apple fruit favours and a bready, biscuity complexity from its long ageing on its lees. Perfect with simple fish and chips or more sophisticated smoked salmon!
