This early ripening vineyard was picked a week earlier than Georg’s other vineyards. Vibrant and fresh with beautifully silky texture and lovely weight of fruit. Gentle, barely perceptible oak flavours and 13% alcohol – all in all a delicious, beautifully balanced Pinot with a real sense of terroir. Please note – we have a very limited allocation of this wine so it is only available if purchased together with Fromm Selvenen Pinot Noir. “The 2018 Malanser Pinot Noir Spielmann is deep, pure, fresh and flinty on the concentrated and toasty nose, which displays dark fruit aromas with refreshing lime zest and flinty notes. Intense and sweet on the palate, with raspberry and blackberry flavors, this is a full-bodied, round and juicy yet also finessed and silky-textured Pinot from 11-year-old vines. Noble praline notes and fine, refreshing tannins and stimulating salinity on the finish. Tasted as a sample in February 2020.” 93-94 pts The Wine Advocate
