Foz Torto Vinhas Velhas Tinto Douro – 2018

A blend of traditional Douro grape varieties from vines averaging nearly 70 years old. This comes from some of the most beautiful, rugged, terraced vineyards in the highest quality area of Portugal’s Douro Valley. Rich, spicy and concentrated in fruit flavour, yet with vibrancy and freshness thanks to the deep rooted old vines. Gentle, fine oak flavours and tannins give extra complexity and structure. A magnificent, full bodied red from the superb 2019 vintage which will improve in the bottle for up to 10 years. Only around 300 cases were produced.
