Florin Pinot Noir Blaurock Stein am Rhein – 2014

CHF 35.00

This is a Swiss Pinot Noir with a difference. It has been made in semi-“Amarone” style, that is some of the grapes were dried after being harvested until they were shrivelled and very concentrated. The resulting wine is fuller in body and richer than most Swiss Pinots, with a very subtle hint of sweet black cherry fruit flavours. Full credit to winemaker Andreas Florin for having the courage to try something completely new, with this impressive result!
