Dow’s LBV Port – 2011

2011 was one of the most perfect vintages of all time for Ports and red wines from the Douro. Dow’s made my personal favourite Late Bottled Vintage Port from this vintage. It was bottled after spending around 4 years in large oak casks and has much of the style, youthful power and quality of Vintage Port, except it’s a little lighter and a little less complex; easier to drink in the short term in fact.
