D’Arenberg Dead Arm Shiraz – 2012

D’Arenberg’s flagship wine, always highly acclaimed by the world’s press, comes from very old gnarled vines with only one cordon. The other died from a vineyard disease called “Dead Arm”. The resulting fruit is extremely concentrated and powerful and gives this wine its huge complexity and ability to develop over 10 to 15 years.
2012 was a fantastic vintage in McLaren Vale.
